U-20 women’s team returned home

KATHMANDU: The Nepalese team has returned home after competing in the second round of AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers.

Nepal who took part in the selection in Myanmar arrived home on Sunday night.

The Nepali delegation was greeted by ANFA General Secretary Kiran Rai, Spokesperson Suresh Shah, and others.

Nepal was winless in qualifying.

Nepal remained winless after falling to Chinese Taipei 5-0 in the third and final match on Saturday.

Nepal lost 5-0 to Myanmar in the first match and 5-0 to China in the second match in Group B.

Nepal stayed at the bottom of Group ‘B’ of selection, with no points.
