KATHMANDU: A team from the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority apprehended a National Public Health Laboratory official with a bribe.
The authority’s squad apprehended Lekhnath Bhattarai, a lab technician (approved sixth level) working at the National Public Health Laboratory in Teku, with a bribe of Rs 50,000 on Friday.
According to the Authority, Bhattarai accepted a bribe of Rs 50,000 from the customer in exchange for facilitating the lab’s registration in Shankhamul.
