KATHMANDU: The prize money for the FIFA Women’s World Cup, which will be hosted in Australia and New Zealand, has been announced.

According to FIFA’s prize money announcement, each World Cup participant will receive at least $30,000.

Similarly, the victorious team’s players will get a prize of $270,000 US dollars.

FIFA said that only 732 players who will play in the World Cup will receive the award.

FIFA has set aside $110 million for the prize money for the Women’s World Cup.

The World Cup champion will receive $4,290,000. Second place will receive $3,015,000, third place will receive $2,610,000, and fourth place will receive $2,455,000.

Similarly, the group stage teams will receive $1,560,000 in prize money.

The team that advances to the round of 16 will receive $1,870,000, while the team that advances to the quarterfinals will receive $2,180,000.

The Women’s World Cup will take place between July 20 and August 20.
