KATHMANDU: At present, there is a partial influence of western winds as well as local winds in the country, according to the Weather Forecast Division.

Due to which, the country’s rugged topography has undergone a partial to normal alteration.

There is a chance of rain and lightning in the afternoon in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali states.

There is a chance of brief rain with lightning in one or two places in Koshi State at night.
