KATHMANDU: Youth Open 5K Run is to be organized in the first week of Ashar under the auspices of Athletics Pariwar Nepal.
The competition will be held on Ashar 2nd (June 17), with the goal of promoting young athletes.
Athletes must be 14 years old to compete in the competition, which will be held in two categories: male and female.
The competition winner (male and female) will receive a trophy, medal, and Rs 20,000. 10,000 for second place, 5,000 for third place, 2,000 for fourth and fifth place, and 1,000 for sixth through tenth place.
The competition registration deadline is Thursday, Jestha 32 (June 15).
Players can register at the Athletics Pariwar Nepal contact office on the second floor of the World Trade Center, according to the organizers.
