KATHMANDU:Currently, there is a partial influence of western winds as well as local winds in the country, according to the Weather Forecast Division.

As a result, the hilly portions of the country, especially Sudurpasschim and Lumbini States, are seeing a partial to typical alteration.

In the afternoon, there will be a partial to normal change in the steep sections of the country, and the rest of the country will be mostly clear.

Thunderstorms are expected in the Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and other regions of Sudurpaschim State’s steep terrain.

There is a chance of rain with lightning in one or two locations in the hilly portions of Koshi and Gandaki States at night.
