KATHMANDU: Nepal’s women’s squad has reached in Myanmar for the second round of AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers.

The Nepali U-20 women’s team reached Yangon, Myanmar on Monday afternoon. The Nepali team left for that on Sunday night.

Nepal is in Group ‘B’ in the second round of selection. Nepal’s coalition includes China, Myanmar, and Chinese Taipei.

Head coach Yam Gurung has announced a 23 member squad for the selection.

Nepal has advanced to the second round of selection following the first round in Palestine. Nepal, the group winner in Group ‘B,’ has advanced to the second level.

The second round of selection will take place between June 3 and June 11. The top four teams will compete in the U-20 Women’s Asian Cup in Uzbekistan.

From March 3 to 16, Uzbekistan will host the U-20 Women’s Asian Cup 2024. The U-20 Women’s Asian Cup will include 16 teams.
