Ibrahimovic to leave Milan

KATHMANDU: Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the forward for AC Milan in Italy, is leaving the club.

Milan has confirmed that the Swedish veteran forward will leave the club.

The 41-year-old attacker will play for Milan against Hellas Verona on Sunday.

“AC Milan will bid farewell to Zlatan Ibrahimovic with a brief ceremony involving all the crowd during the Serie A match versus Verona,” a club spokesperson said.

“AC Milan would like to thank Zlatan for the magnificent years we spent together.”

Ibrahimovic returned to Milan in 2019.

He lead Milan win the Serie A title last season.

Ibrahimovic’s contract with the club expires at the end of June.
