KATHMANDU: Eden Hazard, the winger for Real Madrid in Spain, is leaving the club.

Real Madrid has confirmed that the Belgian winger will be leaving the club.

Hazard and Real have agreed to end the agreement on June 30.

He is leaving Real Madrid after four seasons. Hazard joined Real Madrid in 2019 from the English club Chelsea. Hazard, on the other hand, has only appeared in 54 La Liga games for Real Madrid. Hazard has appeared in six games this season.

“Eden Hazard has been part of our club for four seasons, during which time he has won eight titles: one European Cup, one Club World Cup, one UEFA Super Cup, two LaLiga titles, one Copa del Rey and two Spanish Super Cups.

“Real Madrid would like to express our affection to Eden Hazard and we wish him and his family the best of luck for the next stage of his career.”

Hazard has played 76 games for Real Madrid in all competitions despite missing most of the season due to injury. In that time, he scored seven goals.

Hazard has won the Champions League, Club World Cup, La Liga, European Super Cup, Copa del Rey, and Spanish Super Cup for Real Madrid.
