Leipzig lifts German Cup title

KATHMANDU: RB Leipzig won the German Cup football title.

Leipzig won the championship after defeating Frankfurt 2-0 in the final on Saturday night. Leipzig won thanks to goals from Christopher Nkunku and Dominik Szoboszlai.

Christopher scored in the 71st minute to give Leipzig an early lead.

Then, in the 85th minute, Dominik scored to give Christopher a 2-0 triumph.

Leipzig won the German Cup for the second consecutive season.
