Lionel Messi set to leave PSG
Messi's contract with PSG is set to expire this summer.
KATHMANDU: Lionel Messi, the forward for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), has confirmed his departure from the club.
Messi, the Argentine, will leave PSG at the end of the season. Messi will quit PSG, according to PSG head coach Christophe Galtier. Messi will play his final match for PSG against Clermont on Saturday, according to coach Galtier.
“I had the opportunity to coach one of the best players in football history,” Gaultier remarked. “This will be his last game at the Parc des Princes, and I hope he gets a warm welcome.”
Messi’s contract with PSG is set to expire this summer.
Argentina captain Messi agreed to a two-year contract extension with PSG in 2021.
Messi has recently been rumored to return to Barcelona.
Messi has 32 goals in 74 appearances for PSG in all competitions.
