Police beats NRT

KATHMANDU: Nepal Police Club has won the Shahid Smarak ‘A’ Division League Football.

Police defeated Newroad team NRT 1-0 on Thursday at Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwor. Police won thanks to a goal from Moses Gyabaah Twum.

Moses scored in the 75th minute with a header from Rabi Paswan’s cross.

The NRT, which was fascinated with anti-police attacks, was unable to capitalize on its opportunity.

NRT was reduced to 10 players during the game’s injury time. NRT captain Bikram Dhimal was sent off with a red card along with a double yellow card.

This is the police’s tenth victory. In 23 games, Police scored 34 points. Police is ranked fourth.

NRT is ranked eighth with 29 points from 23 games.
