KATHMANDU: Currently, there is a general effect of western winds as well as local winds in the country, according to the Weather Forecast Division.

As a result, the country’s hilly terrain is currently changing.

In the afternoon, there will be a partial to normal change in the hilly sections of the country, including Sudurpaschim and Karnali States, and the remainder of the country will be clear.

There is a possibility of light rain with lightning in the hilly areas of Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Gandaki, Bagmati and Koshi States.

Also, there is a possibility of wind and storm in few places of Madhesh and Lumbini States.

Light rain with lightning is possible at one or two places in the hilly districts of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim states at night, according to the department.
