Five people have been sentenced to more than 30 years in jail following the Premier League’s record private prosecution to combat piracy and unauthorized streaming of Premier League matches.
Aged between 30 and 46, they ran one of the UK’s biggest illegal streaming services.
They made more than £7 million from over 50,000 members by selling illicit streaming.
Mark Gould, the gang’s leader, was sentenced to 11 years in prison.
Four additional members have been sentenced to prison terms ranging from three to five years.
