Sunrise Bank’s dairy production skill training in Birendranagar
35 women participated in the milk production related training and financial literacy program held in Birendranagar from Jestha 8 (May 22).

KATHMANDU: Sunrise Bank has completed a skill-based training and financial literacy program connected to dairy production in Surkhet’s Ward No. 2 of Birendranagar Municipality.
As part of its social obligation, the bank has provided milk production skill training.
According to the bank, it was performed with the goal of giving training linked to agricultural business at the local level to assist local people in growing their revenue and providing banking expertise essential in that business.
35 women participated in the milk production related training and financial literacy program held in Birendranagar from Jestha 8 (May 22).
The program’s chief guest was Birendranagar-2 Executive Ward Chair Gaj Bahadur Budha, and special guests included Sunrise Bank Karnali State Head Dharma Kumar Bista, the bank’s Head Office Agriculture Credit Branch Officer Subas Pokharel, and the bank’s Birendranagar Branch Branch Chief Sushma Giri.
Tarkaraj Joshi, a rural finance expert, led the five-day program’s instruction. The program was created as part of the bank’s social responsibility with the goal of enhancing women’s income and maintaining financial discipline by providing them with varied skill training.
According to the bank, the vocational training has provided women farmers with knowledge about boosting dairy product production, marketing, and saving, which is expected to increase their business capacity.
