PATA summit in Pokhara from today

POKHARA: The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) annual summit and the Adventure Travel Mart begin today in Pokhara.

For the first time, the PATA summit, the umbrella organization of tourism and travel associations in the Asia-Pacific area, will be hosted in Nepal.

The 4-day conference, hosted by the Nepal Government, Nepal Tourism Board, and PATA, will bring together around 250 people from 22 countries, including 160 buyers and suppliers.

Dr. Dhananjay Regmi, chief executive officer of the Nepal tourist Board, who attended the summit alongside the Maldives’ Minister of Tourism and high-ranking officials from seven countries’ tourist monitoring authorities, stated
