KATHMANDU: Currently, there is a western low pressure system in the country as well as local winds, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.

As a result, there is a partial change in the hilly portions of the country, including the Far West and Karnali States.

In the afternoon, there will be light to moderate rain across the hilly areas of Lumbini, Gandaki, Bagmati, and Koshi States, as well as Far West and Karnali States.

There is a chance of light rain with lightning in a few spots in the Far West and Karnali States, as well as one or two sites in the rest of the mountainous areas.
