KATHMANDU: For the fiscal year 2080/81, the government has set aside a total budget of 17.51 billion.

The government brought in 17.93 billion 83.73 million rupees for the current fiscal year.
Out of the total budgeted sum, 11.41 billion 78 crores have been set aside for current expenses.
Similarly, capital expenditure has been managed at 3.7 billion 45 crore rupees.
The government allotted 3.80 billion 38 million rupees for capital expenditure, or the development budget, last year. On this premise, the administration has also reduced the development budget for the coming year.
The federal government has set aside 4.8 brillion for financial transfers to states and municipalities.
The government intends to raise 12.48 billion 62 million in revenue through budget resource management.
Similarly, it anticipates receiving 49.94 billion in foreign subsidies. Its goal is to raise 2.12 billion in foreign loans and 2.40 billion in local loans.
The government intends to attain a 6% economic growth in the coming fiscal year by implementing this budget.
Similarly, an objective of restricting price increases to 6.5 percent has been set.
