Feasibility of cannabis cultivation wil be studied

KATHMANDU: The government intends to produce cannabis for medical purposes.

In order to accomplish this, the government has included a policy in the new fiscal year’s budget to investigate the feasibility of cannabis growing.

Leaders and MPs from several parties in Nepal have been speaking out in favor of legalizing cannabis production, which has therapeutic qualities and can also be used to make clothing and paper.
