88% of the houses destroyed by earthquake been rebuilt
The second installment has been received by 95 percent of the beneficiaries.
KATHMANDU: The reconstruction of 88 percent of the private residence damaged by the Baisakh 12, 2072 (April 25, 2015) earthquake has been completed.
In the economic survey released by the government on Sunday, it is mentioned that 832,585 beneficiaries have been selected till Falgun 2079, 88 percent have completed the construction of their houses and received the third installment.
The second installment has been received by 95 percent of the beneficiaries.
The initial installment is mentioned in the financial survey completed by all beneficiaries.
Of the 500 government and public buildings destroyed by the earthquake, 408 have been reconstructed.
Eighty-nine of the 1,136 health institutions damaged by the earthquake eight years ago have been rebuilt.
