POKHARA: Gandaki’s government commemorated Republic Day with a variety of events. Ratnamandir and Himgriha at Lakeside reopened to the public on Monday morning.

Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey stated on Republic Day that the government will implement a policy agenda to institutionalize the state.

“Gandaki state government is moving forward with determination to make this beautiful system even stronger,” he said. Pandey said that the government is ready to practically implement basic rights such as education, health, food security, sanitation, drinking water and environment.

According to him, the state government has decided to reduce the cost of agricultural production and increase production and productivity by freeing the electricity tariff for lift irrigation and free electricity tariff for the lifting drinking water scheme.

He stated that it is the responsibility of the democratic government to address the need for balanced development and hassle-free service delivery, as well as to work on maximizing service delivery and development from the state’s limited resources.

“There is a situation where more efforts are required to meet public expectations, and the state government is attempting to balance limited resources,” he continued.

Gandaki State Chief Prithviman Gurung stated that because the major essence of democracy is inside the state structure, the state government should perform the most work and answer those who doubt federalism via practice.

Employees from the state’s most excellent office, finest office, and national service were recognized in the program.
