NA flight to Bangalore returned to TIA on suspicion of bird strike

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Airlines flight from Kathmandu to Bangalore in India has returned to Tribhuvan Airport.

Spokesperson at TIA Teknath Sitaula said that the aircraft with a call sign of RA-244 which flew from Kathmandu to Bangalore at around 1:45 pm on Saturday returned to TIA on suspicion of bird strike.

According to Sitaula, the plane landed at the airport about half an hour ago.

Sitaula says, Nepal Airlines technicians are investigating the incident.
