Govt’s decides to ask President for certification of Citizenship Bill

KATHMANDU: The government has decided to request that the Citizenship Bill be certified by President Ram Chandra Poudel.

The Cabinet meeting on Friday decided to request the President for the certification of the Citizenship Bill, which was passed by the Federal Parliament and stalled in the President’s Office.

Since last Ashoj, the Citizenship Bill has been languishing in the President’s Office.
