KATHMANDU: On the occasion of the bank’s 29th anniversary, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited has launched Visa Credit Card service, bearing in mind the demands and wants of clients for digital banking.
Embracing the slogan ‘Strong Bank, Successful Cooperation,’ the bank, which has been bringing excellent financial services to Nepalis’ doorsteps for the past 29 years, has formally started its credit card service on Friday.
Bodhraj Debkota, the bank’s chief executive officer, introduced the credit card service at a ceremony held at the bank’s central office.
He has also stated his intention to serve the Nepalese people with more advanced, simple, convenient, and dependable banking services in the future by incorporating customer needs, satisfaction, and institutional governance.
Credit card holders can quickly withdraw cash from POS machines, online transactions, and ATMs that accept Visa cards, as well as make payments through POS and purchase products or services.
Credit card services include no interest for up to 45 days when withdrawing cash with the card, making online payments and purchasing products or services, receiving a credit card limit of 15,000 to 5 lakhs, and being able to use it conveniently in Nepal, India, and Bhutan.
