Weather: light rain likely today

KATHMANDU: At present, the country is affected by the western low pressure system as well as local winds.

According to the weather forecast division, there will be partial to normal rains across the country on Friday.

There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at some places of Madhesh State, Gandaki State and Lumbini State and few places of rest of the state.

There is also a possibility of windstorm in some parts of the Terai region of the country.
