NC Koshi demands to form a committee & negotiate with the identity advocates

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress Koshi State Working Committee requested the state government to resolve legitimate demands of those who protested against the name of the state in Koshi State.

The state committee released a press release on Thursday calling for the formation of a negotiation committee to fulfill the requests of those protesting in favor of identity.

The Koshi Congress has also urged that anyone who demonstrate in support of identification not be shot, baton-charged, or arrested.
