First Khaptad International Spiritual Conference from June 6

KATHMANDU: The first Khaptad International Spiritual Conference will take place from Jestha 23-25 (June 6-8).
The conference, hosted by the Khaptad Region Tourism Development and Management Committee, will take place in Khaptad, a tourist hotspot.
The organizers announced this at a press conference in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
According to the management committee, the purpose of this conference is to establish the Khaptad area as a spiritual meditation center, which is a heritage of biological richness, natural beauty, and spiritual faith. The organizers also stated that Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal will open the summit.
The conference will be attended by the Deputy Prime Minister, former Prime Minister, Ministers, Chief Ministers, and State Ministers, according to Harka Bahadur Singh, Chair of the Management Committee. He estimates that over 500 people will attend the conference.
Yoga Guru Ramdev, Jagatguru Valsanta, Ayurveda Shiromani Bal Krishna Acharya and other spiritual personalities will be present in the conference, he said.
According to President Singh, the meeting was viewed as a critical beginning point for Nepal’s tourist development.
