Expansion of Madhesh govt: 3 ministers take oath
Two ministers of Nepali Congress and one minister of CPN-S who participated in the government took oath.
JANAKPURDHAM: The Madhesh State government has been expanded with the induction of three new ministers from the Nepali Congress and the CPN (Unified Socialist).

Krishna Yadav, the leader of the Congress parliamentary party, is the Minister of Physical Infrastructure Development, Birendra Kumar Singh is the Minister of Health, and Govinda Neupane, the leader of the CPN-S parliamentary party, has taken oath as the Minister of Land Management, Agriculture, and Cooperatives.
Basant Kushwaha of the Janamat Party was appointed Minister of Land Management, Agriculture, and Cooperatives. However, the ministry was seized from him and transferred to Neupane of the CPN-S.
State Chief Minister Hari Shankar Mishra took the oath of office to all three newly appointed ministers in Janakpurdham’s Madhesh Bhawan.
Despite the agreement to give one ministerial berth to the Loktantrik Samajbadi Party, it has not yet participated in the government.
