JANAKPURDHAM: Following Madhesh Chief Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav’s attempt to expand the cabinet against the agreement, the three leading parties have stand together.
A combined meeting of the CPN-Maoist Centre, the Loktantrik Samajwadi Party (LSP), and the Janamat Party has begun in Janakpurdham.
Maoists only recently chose to exit the government.
LSP is not participating in the government. Chief Minister Yadav is preparing to reclaim the Agriculture Ministry from the Janamat Party.
According to reports, Chief Minister Yadav humiliated Minister Basanta Kushwaha by taking away the Agriculture Ministry on behalf of the Janamat Party, and instead granted Congress and CPN-S voluntary ministries to participate in the cabinet.
Abhiram Sharma, the parliamentary party leader of the LSP, stated that, contrary to the arrangement reached at the center, Chief Minister Yadav held a meeting to make the appropriate decisions when attempting to expand the government.
He stated that all ministries save the Chief Minister had been agreed to be vacated. However, Chief Minister Yadav has broken the deal. As a result, we’re holding a meeting to consider what we should do next.
