Ray Stevenson, ‘RRR’ and ‘Thor’ actor, dies aged 58
He began his career in films and television shows when he was 29 years old.
KATHMANDU: Ray Stevenson, who played the nasty British governor in RRR, Volstagg in the Thor movie, and a prominent enemy in the future Star Wars series Ahsoka, has died at the age of 58.
He played the villain ‘Scott Buxton’ in SS Rajamouli’s film ‘RRR’. After acting in the first Indian film, he also worked in ‘Thor’ and ‘Thor: The Dark World’ produced by Marvel Studios.
He was born on May 25, 1964, in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, and moved to England with his family when he was eight years old.
He began his career in films and television shows when he was 29 years old.
He made his feature debut with ‘The Theory of Flight’ in 1998.
