20-year-old electrocuted in Chitwan

KATHMANDU: A 20-year-old inhabitant of Banke Janaki Rural Municipality-2 and a worker at Prabhat Jal Consumer Samiti in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-25 dies of electrocution in Chitwan.

The deceased has been identified as Deshraj Joshi.

He was electrocuted on Sunday afternoon while assisting electrical workers to change the power transmitter in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-25 Shukranagar.

Joshi was critically injured by electric shock and died while receiving treatment at Chitwan Medical College in Bharatpur.

The police are looking into the matter further.
