Man held for rape charges

KATHMANDU: Police arrested Aashish Thapa, 35, of Goldhunga, Kathmandu Tarakeshwor Municipality-5, on Sunday morning on charge of raping a 28-year-old woman.

The police stationed from Sadobato police circle detained Thapa on the basis of an allegation that he forced the woman in the victim’s room at Lalitpur Tikathali on the night of Falgun 12, 2079 (24 Feb, 2023).
