School principal dies in an accident
Principal Rai was crushed to death by a tractor (Ko 2 Ta 4676) in Bahunidanda while returning home after school had closed.
KATHMANDU: The principal died after being run over by a tractor in Khotang.
Makardhwaj Rai, the principal of Beldanda Basic School in Halesi Tuwachung Municipality-1 Bahunidanda, died.
Principal Rai was crushed to death by a tractor (Ko 2 Ta 4676) in Bahunidanda while returning home after school had closed.
He slipped and fell while attempting to board the tractor.
Police Inspector Benu Karki, the District Police Office’s Information Officer, stated that Rai was crushed by the tractor’s rear wheel after landing.
Following Principal Rai’s death, authorities apprehended the tractor driver and began an inquiry.
