Manju Khand reaches Teku to meet Bal Krishna
Manju reached in Teku after 13 days to meet Bal Krishna Khand who was held on 27 Baisakh (May 10).
KATHMANDU: Former Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand, who was detained in the case of a bogus Bhutanese refugee, and his wife, Congress MP Manju Khand, have reached at the Teku police station.
Manju reached in Teku after 13 days to meet Bal Krishna Khand who was held on 27 Baisakh (May 10).
Manju, who reached at the premises in the morning, was also being investigated at the time. When the accused in the case began to be apprehended in a rush, there was also news that she had fled to another country. Manju, on the other hand, attended the House of Representatives meeting on the 4th Jestha (May 18).
Even though the audios that could be suspected of her involvement were released, the police did not arrest her as of lack of evidence.
Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s spouse and MP Arzu Ran Deuba is also involved in this case, but police sources claim that the evidence has not arrived.
The police after investigating the case of fake Bhutanese refugees are submitting a report with opinion to the district attorney’s office today. The police concluded that a case should be filed against 32 people, including 16 arrested and 16 absconding.
