Truck-scooty collision: one dies, one injured
Tamang, who was critically injured in the accident, died in the Bharatpur Government Hospital while receiving treatment.
KATHMANDU: A 20-year-old dies in truck-tipper collision in Bhartpur.
The deceased has been identified as Sagar Tamang, a 20-year-old resident of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-11, Chitwan.
The collision occured when a truck (Na 4 Kha 6674) collided with a scooter (Bagmati State 03-002 P 7688) in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-12 Tikauli forest on Sunday morning.
Tamang, who was critically injured in the accident, died in the Bharatpur Government Hospital while receiving treatment.
One injured scooter (pilion) rider is being treated at New Medical College in Bharatpur.
The truck driver has been detained, and police are undertaking the required investigations into the collision.
