AGENCY: A 9-year-old kid who fell into a borewell in Jaipur’s Bhojpura village on Saturday was rescued following a 7-hour rescue attempt.

Personnel from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and Civil Defence successfully extracted the child.

Akshit (9), fell into an open borewell while playing in Bhojpura village, Indian media said.

The kid was stuck 70 feet down in the borewell.

“The team’s efforts saved the kid.” “His condition is stable, and he has been taken to a hospital in Jobner,” SDM Arun Jain said.

During the rescue attempt, Akshit continued to talk to his rescuers, who gave him air, water, and crackers to eat, according to officials.

The kid was carried to a hospital in an ambulance after rescue.
