One person died, dozens injured in a bus collision in Deukhuri
More than a dozen people were hurt in the crash, according to police.
KATHMANDU: One person died in a traffic accident in Dang. An accident occurred in Deukhuri in the morning when two buses collided with each other.
Shobha Pariyar, 43, a resident of Rolpa Runtigadhi-7, died on the spot as a result of the accident, according to Rajan Kumar Gautam, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Dang.
More than a dozen people were hurt in the crash, according to him.
A collision occurred in the morning when buses No. Lu 2 Kha 785 from Lamahi to Bhaluwang and No. 5 Kha 4898 from Birgunj to Tulsipur in Dang crashed in Phalkapur, Lamahi Municipality-3.
Tulsiram Ramijal, the bus driver on his way to Bhaluwang, was gravely hurt.
As the condition of 11 injured people is critical, they have been sent to Nepalgunj and other locations for additional treatment.
