Chinese mountaineer paraglided on Mount Everest
Sudarshan Nepal, Managing Director of Nepal Big Mountain Travel Company, said that Chinese national Li Sengato paraglided from Everest's 8,000-meter summit to the base camp.

KATHMANDU: Chinese mountaineer have paraglided to the summit of Mount Everest.
Sudarshan Nepal, Managing Director of Nepal Big Mountain Travel Company, said that Chinese national Li Sengato paraglided from Everest’s 8,000-meter summit to the base camp.
Mountaineer Lee took roughly 40 minutes to descend from 8,000 meters to the base camp.
According to him, the Chinese mountaineer had obtained permission to paraglide from Mount Everest’s 8,000-meter peak. Mountaineer Lee climbed to Mount Everest in collaboration with Nepal Big Mountain Travel Company.
Having paragliding from the summit of Everest, he dropped to the base camp before returning to climb Everest.
Li, a Chinese mountaineer, climbed Mount Everest to 8,000 meters and then paraglided down to the base camp. “He is now on his way to the summit of Everest to climb,” he explained.
According to Managing Director Nepal, this will promote Chinese tourists who prefer adventure activities. He stated that it will help to attract more Chinese tourists in light of the increased number of Chinese tourists following the Corona pandemic.
