Accident at Tarkeshwor Jarankhu: one dies, four injured (photos included)

KATHMANDU: One person died and four others were injured in an accident at Jarankhu in Tarakeshwor.

On Wednesday afternoon, Jogendra Prasad Gupta was killed when a bus traveling on the Tarakeshwor route collided with a motorcycle.

According to Rajendra Prasad Bhatta, a traffic police spokesman, he was critically hurt and died at Green City Hospital in Bashundhara.

Four persons on the bus were slightly injured, according to him. When the accident occurred, the bus had reached the river.

According to police, the bus was dragged out using a crane.

The accident has enraged the locals.
