Two Nepali students lost their lives in Japan bus accident

The bus was rammed from behind by a truck, which caused the accident.

KATHMANDU: Two Nepalis were killed in a vehicle accident in Japan. Three persons were killed in a bus accident in Kurihara, Miyagi prefecture, including two Nepalese students.

Nawaraj Tamang and Yuvaraj Thapa of Kavre were among those killed in the Tuesday evening accident.

Thapa is also a student at Senmon Gakko and Tamang Nihongo Gakko, according to Japanese media.

The bus was rammed from behind by a truck, which caused the accident.

A truck rammed the bus when it was stopped for inspection on the Tohoku Expressway in Miyagi Prefecture. After the truck collided with a bus that was halted on the expressway, the bus was flung 100 meters.

The bus held 40 people, including crew members.
