8 held for gambling

KATHMANDU: Police detained eight persons, including Jai Bahadur Moktan, inside Thamel Narsingh Chowk’s scooty dance restaurant on Sunday night.

On the basis of a special information, authorities from Lainchaur police circle apprehended them with 44,000 rupees in cash and ten deck of cards.

The police are carrying out the necessary investigations in this case.
