Pedestrian dies in vehicle hit

KATHMANDU: On Tuesday morning, Phulmaya Nagarkoti (68), a pedestrian, was killed in a van (State 3-01-024 Ch 7465) hit on the road in Sukedhara, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-4.

She was critically hurt in the crash and died while being treated at Maharajgunj’s teaching hospital.

The police have detained the vehicle driver.
