Top Bahadur appeared in court in a ‘smiling pose like a politician’

KATHMANDU: The police have produced Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, who was arrested in the bogus Bhutanese refugee case, at Kathmandu’s district court.
Rayamajhi was taken to the District Police Complex in Kathmandu to get permission to detain him for investigation in the aforementioned case.
Rayamajhi, who had been hiding for 11 days due to fear of arrest, was apprehended on Sunday night at the home of a party worker in Budhanilkantha.
Rayamajhi was observed in a good mood when arriving in court. Rayamajhi, who continues to jest, claims that he has done nothing wrong; the police arrested him and he presented himself as if he had done nothing wrong.
His approach in front of the the media who went to photograph him at the complex was seen as if he is a politician. Rayamajhi’s arrest brings the total number of people arrested in this investigation to 13. Earlier, 12 persons were arrested, including Congress politician and former Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand.
