Due to the impact of the cyclone that formed last Wednesday, rain has started in some places from Sunday and this pattern will continue for the next three days, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.

KATHMANDU: Cyclone ‘Mocha’ developed in the Bay of Bengal has affected Nepal’s weather.
Due to the impact of the cyclone that formed last Wednesday, rain has started in some places from Sunday and this pattern will continue for the next three days, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.
According to the department, Mocha is turning into a very powerful cyclone and is moving towards the north and northeast direction.
The direct impact of which has been high in the coastal areas of Bangladesh and Myanmar. The eastern region of India has been affected more than Nepal. About five lakh people have been moved to safe places due to the cyclone in Bangladesh.
Due to the cyclone, the wind flow is moving northeast at a rate of seven miles per hour. At a high speed of 170 miles per hour, it was headed towards the ground.
The impact of which has created storms and winds up to 12 feet. Meteorologist Pratibha Manandhar said, ‘There will not be a strong impact like there in Nepal, but there will be scattered to light rains for a few days.’
According to him, since the cyclone ‘Mocha’, which is moving with high winds and water vapor, is in the process of falling to the ground on Sunday, the power of its water vapor has reached Nepal.
Due to the presence of westerly and local air pressure in Nepal, the wind of the cyclone coming from the northeast has become weak. After three to four days of light rain and rain, the impact of the cyclone will moderate in Nepal. The department said that the weather will improve from Wednesday.
