KATHMANDU: Mahottari police nabbed an Indian youth with weapons from the district’s Ekdara Rural Municipality-4 Halkhori Chowk today.

The apprehended is 26-year-old Pappu Yadav, son of Ramvriksha Yadav and inhabitant of Bajopatti Village Panchayat Ward No.6 in Bihar, India, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Dilip Kumar Giri, spokesperson of District Police Office Mahottari.

Pappu, a young man from Sursand, India, was apprehended by police stationed at Halkhori Chowk with a pistol labeled “Homemade Indian” and five rounds of ammunition.
