14-year-old kid drowns to death

KATHMANDU: A 14-year-old Anish Rai Yadav, son of Jitendra Rai, resident of Bishnu Rural Municipality-5, drowned in a pond and died on Sunday afternoon.

Yadav, who has passed away, perished due to drowning in a pond located near his maternal uncle’s home in Bagha-2 Gram Panchayat, Sitamarhi, Bihar, India while taking a bath.

He died during treatment at the State Hospital Malangawa.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
