Man arrested for raping a 5-year-old kid

KATHMANDU: On Saturday afternoon, police arrested 50-year-old Janaku Chaudhary of Lamahi Municipality-8 Satbariya Sangharsha tole on the charge of raping a 5-year-old child.

Janaku was arrested by the ward police office Lamahi after he was accused of taking the child to the nearby bushes and sexually assaulting her in the afternoon, in response to a complaint.

The police are investigating further in this regard.
