Asian Paints Nepal launches Colour Next 2023

KATHMANDU: Asian Paints Nepal successfully launched Colour Next 2023, which included participation from major architects and interior designers, including the Society of Nepalese Architects (SONA) and the Interior Designers Association Nepal (IDEA Nepal).

Color Next by Asian Paints is an annual phenomenon that researches global, socio-cultural, and environmental trends to determine design directions.

Through interaction with industry experts, multiple collaborative workshops and secondary research, trends relevant to the design industry are discovered.

Colour Next 2023, held on May 10 at the Hyatt Regency, began with a welcome address by Mr. Pragyan Kumar, CEO- Asian Paints Global, and was followed by a brief presentation by Mr. Sireesh Rao, Regional Head- Asian Paints Global, and Mr. G Gopalakrishnan, Country Head- Asian Paints Nepal that highlighted Asian Paints’ association with architects and interior designers.

As highlight of the event- Mariesha Rego Dsouza, Brand Manager of Asian Paints, announced four trends for the year as:

• GOTHILICIOUS,
• SLEEP SENSE
• EDGE OF FOREST
• SHROOM

and Architect Madhav Raman, introduced ‘Silver Escapade’ as Colour of the Year 2023.
