Top leaders of three major parties meet in Singha Durbar

KATHMANDU: Following the arrest of the former deputy prime minister, former ministers, and party leaders in the matter of bogus Bhutanese refugees, the top leaders of the top three parties returned to the meeting on Wednesday.

Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, Chair of the main opposition party CPN-UML KP Sharma Oli, and Chair of the Maoist Centre Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda have all joined the meeting in the Prime Minister’s office and the Council of Ministers.

Police arrested Nepali Congress leader and former home minister Bal Krishna Khand only on Wednesday morning.

Similarly, although the police are searching for the UML secretary, he has gone missing.
