KATHMANDU: Amresh Kumar Singh, an independent member of Parliament, has disrupted the Parliamentary session.

He showed impolite behavior by taking off his ‘shirt’ & ‘undershirt’ at the start of the House of Representatives (HoR) meeting on Monday.

Despite Speaker Dev Raj Ghimire’s alert, he refused to wear the shirts.

Speaker Ghimire, who called his behavior unpleasant, profane, and indecent, also threatened to take action under Rule 30 of the Parliament Rules.

Some MPs objected when they were not granted special time to speak during the meeting.

Singh demonstrated his displeasure by removing his clothing as he stood up.
